Industrial Tooling Corporation has now published the latest edition of its tapping and threading catalogue. The Issue 7 catalogue features a complete range of exciting innovations for 2022 with a vast range of UK manufactured carbide threadmills appearing alongside the latest threading taps from industry-leading brands Widia and Bass Tools.
The latest publication of the ITC tapping and threading catalogue includes the expanded threadmill range that now features full form threadmills, mini threadmills and a new range of single-point threadmills. The latest products added to the publication are capable of producing threads at 2XD and also 3XD. The Tamworth cutting tool specialists now also offer a service to extend the usable reach of the tools by necking the shank of the tool.
The latest publication incorporates a ‘full line’ of taps and threadmills with all types catered for. This includes metric, metric fine, UNC, UNF, BSP, NPT, UNJC, UNJF and MJ thread forms. In addition, the new publication also introduces the new range of 60-degree single point carbide threadmills. This new line of extremely rigid high-performance threadmills enables the tool reach to be extended to produce deep hole threads. The 60-degree single point carbide threadmills can also be used to produce non-standard pitches by utilising the control of the CNC machine.
The range of taps in the catalogue has been simplified in comparison to previous editions. The latest catalogue highlights the different sections with colour coding. For example, this enables readers to quickly identify the Widia general purpose taps that are primarily manufactured from HSSE material and the Bass range of taps made from HSSE-PM — both applied to different parameters and material types. Both ranges are available in metric, metric fine, UNC, UNF, BSP, NPT, UNJC, UNJF and MJ thread forms, catering for the complete needs of your machine shop. The catalogue also has an extensive range of wire insert taps with sizes from M2 through to M16X2 and from 4-40 UNC up to ½ UNC and UNF. The new tapping and threading catalogue can be downloaded from the ITC website.
